It's Mother's Day weekend and we've rounded up a few more entertainment recommendations that we have personally enjoyed. Non-digital recommendations include: trying a new recipe (we made quiche this week for the first time), tackling a game of chess, gardening or playing catch outside with your lockdown partner while physically distancing from others! Please share your own recommendations - we love hearing them.

Movies

Sorry To Bother You

This may go down as one of my favorite movies of all time. Not only is it extremely good, but I kept thinking to myself, how did they create something so truly original?

Hearts Beat Loud

A feel good movie. Perfect for watching with (or suggesting to) your mom on Mother’s Day.

The Young Offenders

An independent Irish movie. It’s super funny, quirky and received 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Everybody's Everything

A documentary about Lil Peep. You don’t need to be a fan to appreciate this raw documentary highlighting his rise, struggles and outcome. It’s really very good.

TV Shows

The Last Dance

If you are in the minority of people not watching The Last Dance, watch it. It’s deeply inspiring and captures a special moment in human history.

Waco

A bio series based on a true events. It’s interesting to rewatch this story from the vantage point of the civilians as opposed to the FBI.

Love

It’s not new but it’s a gem. It is a comedy created by Judd Apatow, Lesley Arfin, and Paul Rust that captures the complexities and subtleties of modern romance.
